JOHN WARD GILMAN
John Ward Gilman (b. Exeter, N.H., 9 May 1741; d. there, 16 June 1823) was a music engraver and postmaster of Exeter for some forty years. During the 1760s and early 1770s he engraved many of the collections published by Daniel Bayley of Newburyport, Massachusetts.
