GEORGE C. SWEENY

George C. Sweeny (b. England or Ireland, ca. 1765; d. Boston, Mass., 24 Oct. 1810) was a composer and organist. He studied with Kotzwara in England, emigrated to America, and found his way to Boston. From 1807 until his death he was organist at Boston's Christ Church.
